This service comes in 2 variants, variant #1. cloning, (Plug n' Drive), variant #2. unlocking (virgin, needs programming).
Variant # 1. Cloning, (Plug n' Drive) instrument cluster comes fully programmed and requires no additional programming after installation. VIN, software, coding and mileage will be all transferred to the replacement instrument cluster. The replacement cluster will be Plug n' Drive and will require no additional programming. Old keys will work, no tamper dot, correct mileage and VIN. Simply install the cluster and start the car. You will have to send original and replacement cluster for variant # 1 (make sure part numbers match or are compatible). Please contact us with any questions.
Variant # 2. Unlocking (virgin, needs programming). Instrument cluster will require programming, just as a new instrument cluster from the dealer would. You will have to flash the correct software and code it. Mileage will be reset to "0 miles" and there will be no VIN stored. You will have to send replacement cluster only for variant # 2.
